Cleveland, Oh.
June 19, 2004

I arrived in Cleveland the day before the show and
met up with an online friend from Canada....
We decided to get in a little sightseeing before the
big Saturday night show..... We were supposed to meet
up with another online friend, but she
'flaked' us off!!!!

We arrived at the venue a little early, and decided
to park in the garage along side the venue... No one
was outside the venue when they headed for the garage,
but when we got out of the garage and were headed for
the venue, Brad and a few other fellas were standing on
the sidewalk....

We approached them, and once we were a few
feet away (Brad had his back to them), I said, "Uh Um,
Mr. Cotter!" Brad immediately turned around, put his hand
out to my friend and said, "Hi, Brad Cotter!" It was too cute...
I just giggled and said, "DUH!!!" Brad got a laugh out of
this.....

My friend exclaimed that she was from Canada and that she was a
big fan of George's... Brad reached out and shook my hand
and introduced himself. I told him, "Brad, I came all the way
from California just to see you!"... His response was, "AW... Bless
Your Heart!!! That is too cool!!!"

I mentioned to Brad that the venue had a "No Camera Policy" and
that they would allow camera's only if we had permission from
the artists performing... Brad laughed and said, 'Heck, I don't
give a S**T!!!! Take all the photos you want!!! Don't bother me a
bit!!!" Knowing this, I intended on letting the venue know....

We spent a good 10-15 minutes chatting with Brad and walking down
the street with him... He was heading out to eat, and asked us to
walk to the corner with him as he headed for the car.... I mentioned
that I had a website for Brad, and when I told him the web address,
for it, and that I had also created the "Brad Cotter Radio Play Campaign"
for him, he exclaimed, "I know you... I have heard all about you....
You are awesome... Why would you want to do so much for me?" I told
him, "I hope all you have heard is good.... I am just the imfamous
Jan from California! I am doing this because I believe in you. You deserve great success!" I mentioned the lack of Radio Play of
"I Meant To" and he commented on the latest plugs it
had gotten that week, and that he hopes my Radio Play
will help......

I went on to tell him that in California, none of the radio
statios would even give his single any airplay.. He said, "I know...
I can't get it played anywhere!!! I hope they get playing it soon...."
I said "If I have anything to do with it, it will!!!!"

We finished our little walk to the corner with Brad, and said
our good-byes, with Brad saying, "Well, darlins' it was a pleasure
meeting you, and I will see you both in about 45 minutes at the meet
and greet. If I don't go eat now, I will never get to eat!!!!" He
then headed across the street and to the car and they drove off....

We proceeded to the venue, picked up our tickets at
will call, and we then waited outside for our other friend to show up....
When she finally did, she could not believe that they just spent
time with Brad!!! She was
upset..... I assured her that she would see Brad
at the meet and
greet!!!!

The venue honored the cameras and let the fans take all the photos
they wanted!!! Yeah!!!

The venue was not very full... To my surprise another online
friend arrived, and just happened to be seated in the
row behind me. But since
the seats in the aisle that I was in
were empty, she moved up and sat next to me....

The show began with the guys coming out and singing, "Put Some Drive
In Your Country"..... Fabulous!!!! I got some really great shots of all the guys!!! And one very wonderful shot of George!!!

Lance was first up as usual... He played his usual songs, made his
usual jokes, and tried to get the audience warmed up for Matt,
George and Brad.....Matt took the stage and
brought the crowd to their feet... He is
hilarious!!! Everyone was just rolling....
George blew everyone away with his song, "My Name"...
Many were in tears... You could hear a pin
drop in that room!!!!

Brad took the stage in a gorgeous blue paisley long sleeved shirt...
Really brought out the green in his eyes... He looked so good.....
He really worked the stage!!! At one point he ran over to the side
of the stage greet Marlene, and shook her hand. He then continued his set.... Later before the end of the show, he walked
over to the edge of the stage again
where I was standing alongside another lady, and he reached down
and grabbed our hands and kissed them both... It was too sweet!!!!

At the meet and greet after the show, the guys were situated behind
the main bar in the venues main lobby... Crazy set up.... Hard for
the fans to get to the guys!!! The line was very unorganized....
Security pushed the fans out like cattle.... When I approached
Brad at the meet and greet, I handed him a few items that I had
for him to sign, and he said, "Wow... Can you say eBay?" I told him
that the stuff was for friends and family back home in California,
and he told me that he was just kidding... I asked Brad for a hug,
but due to the bar being so high, Brad said, "I would like that,
but this thing (the bar) might get in the way!!!" I said, "Yeah I
know... Silly place for a meet and greet!!!" Before I walked on to see the other guys, I decided to give the hug a try... It worked, bar and all!!!
I was trying to take some photos, and security told me to step
into the outer lobby to take them (along wih everyone else that had been through the line already!)... Too far for my flash to get
good shots.... I stood at the little gate waiting to get Brad's
attention... Brad saw me in the lobby, and motioned for me to
come back inside...

As I approached the door, security stopped me and told me I
could not come back in... I told him, "I was invited back in by
Brad Cotter..." The guard said, "I am sorry, but I can't let you in...
I do not know who Brad Cotter is..." I pointed out Brad to the
guard, and he walked over to the road manafer to confirm my story!!!
The road manager approached Brad, asked him a few questions, then
Brad turned and looked at Brad and motioned for me to "Get in Here!"
I entered the lobby and proceeded to stand behind the crowd and
took some photos of Brad.... Brad was happy to have me there!!! Marlene managed to work her way back in too...

After all the fans in line were gone, Brad approached Marlene and said
"Hello Marlene!!!" Gave her a hug, and thanked her for coming... He
then turned to me, thanked me for coming, gave me a big hug and
kiss and asked for a photo to be taken with me... The road manager
took the photo.... Brad did not want to leave... He kept trying to
talk to me, but the road manager told him he had to get going....
So, Brad hugged me again and walked out through the venue.....

We all decided to head back for the car... We saw
the bus alongside the venue and knew we would have to pass it on
our way... As we approached the bus, Carlo Marino the drummer saw
me and walked over... I introduced the others to Carlo (I had known him
for over 8 years through a friend of hers!)... We all stood around
and chatted... When we finished talking to Carlo,
we said our good-byes, I got a hug from Carlo and
told him I hoped to see him again soon!!!
He said he was sure they would!!!! He headed back for the bus...
We headed for the car, and noticed Brad and Carlo seated by the
window in the back of the bus waving good-bye to us!!!!

Albuquerque, NM!
July 8, 2004

I flew into Albuquerque to meet up with my friend and soon to be
roommate, Jan, who is moving to Nashville, to help her drive back.
The show this night was the best show to date. Everyone was in a great
mood. After a 3 minute drizzle and electric storm just before the
show started, the weather co-operated and turned into the perfect
night. The crowd was small, but larger than I anticipated due to
just getting our tickets a few days before and we were in the 3rd row.  I bought roses for the guys again, and again they seemed to be appreciated. When I took Lance his rose, he said "Thanks for the flowers, mom. It would be nice to get them from someone I don't know. Marlene isn't really my mom, just a good friend and we love her." He also turned comedian by including a joke about saving money on his car insurance. Lance gave a flawless performance as usual.
Matt was his same funny self. When I took the flowers up to him, his
comment was "I have to stop and smell the roses." He is now using a
toothbrush with his washboard instead of the glove.

During Matt's set,
Jan saw Brad walk out of the backstage area and head for the sound
booth... She had some stuff for him, so she decided to take a walk up
to the top of the venue and see if she could ge ta couple of minutes
with him... She approached the sound booth, yet kept her space...
Brad was busy talking to some people, so she gave them their space,
and waitied for Brad to approach her... He was excited to see her,
and rushed over and gave her a big hug....
She handed Brad the bag of goodies, and he said "Aw, you shouldn't
have.... Jan, you are too sweet.... Sure you don't want to give me
this on stage?" Jan said, "No, I would rather give it to you in
person... Makes it more personal that way!!!" He started to walk
towards the stairs leading to the backstage area, when Jan asked
him, "Aren't you gonna look at what is in the bag?" Brad said,
"Now? Sure!!!! Let me find somewhere to set my beer down!!!"
They walked over to some empty bleachers, and he set down his
beer... He was fumbling to get the tissue out of the bag, and
could not find anywhere to set it, so Jan grabbed it from him and
put it in her other bag... He laughed and said, "Girl, what would
I do without you?" Inside the bag, Brad found a card, a magnet, a
framed photo and some cookies, and some roses... He was speechless...

He looked at the card, and it made him choke up!!! Jan thought
it was a beautiful card, and that it was appropriate for Brad....
She told Brad, "You will never believe what I am doing?" He said,
"What?" She told him, "I am moving to Nashville... I got sick of
things in California, and decided to go to Nashville to pursue my
photography!!!" He said, "Cool... When are you moving?" She told him,
"Now!!! This is my first stop on my way there. Marlene flew out to
help me drive there!!!" He was very excited, and said, "That is
awesome... I will see a lot more of you in Nashville than in
California!!!! When are you gonna get there?" She had to explain
to him about 4 times that she was on the road to get there, and
that the show just happened to be on the way!!!!

He finished opening the bag of goodies, and came across the
framed photo.. It was the photo taken of the two of them in
Cleveland... He was thrilled... "OMG... That is beautiful!!!
I love that photo!!!" he covered his face in the photo and said,
"That side is really ugly, but this side (Pointing at Jan) is
my favorite!!! I really like it... I will keep it on my bus!!!
Thanks Jan!!!" She laughed at his comment, covered up her face
and said, "BS... My side sucks... You are the better looking one
in that photo!!! So don't be silly!!!!" He laughed at that and said,
 "I can't believe we can't even agree on a photo.... Let's just
agree that it is a great photo of both of us, and leave it at that...
It is my favorite photo!!!!" Ok with Jan... No need to argue over a
silly photo!!!!!

Brad saw the package of cookies in the bottom of the bag, and asked
Jan what that was, and when she told him it was cookies, he got all
excited... "Cool, cookies!!!! I'll hide these!!!!" He noticed by
then that he had drawn a small crowd... Some of them wanting his
autograph, but he did not have a sharpie... Lucky for Brad, Jan had
a bag of sharpies, and gave him one.... He signed the autographs,
and told Jan, "I really oughta get backstage.. I have to get my
guitar tuned, and be ready for my set... I will see you after the
show!!!!" He and Jan started to head towards the stairs, as they
continued talking.... He kept asking her when she was getting to
Nashville.... As they approached the stairs, Brad said, "Oh No darlin,
I think you may have gone too far.. I don't think you can go down
here!!!" Jan said, "Uh Brad, I have a ticket, and my seat is down
there!!! (pointing down in the grass near the stage!!!)" "Oh ok...
I will see you in a bit then....." said Brad as he grabbed her and
gave her a hug!!!!

She headed back to her seat and was smiling from ear to ear!!!
I asked her where she had gone, and she said that she went up top
to talk to Brad... She went to sit down and almost flipped the chair
backwards.. She was so excited!!! She told me about their little
10-15 minute chat, and that Brad was looking forward to her being
in Nashville.....

George was flawless as usual. I again took roses up to him and they
were appreciated and acknowledged.
Brad's set was a hoot!!!! To put it mildly. He again took command
of the audience and during "Rock and Roll in the Hay" the other 3
came out to sing backup with him. When Lance walked out, he shook
up a bottle of water and sprayed it on Brad. Brad then turned towards
him and gave a "male" gesture and then told the cameraman that he hope
s he didn't get that on camera. The crowd roared.
As we approached the autograph line, Brad again saw Jan and walked
over to give her a big hug, and said, "Are you going to be in the
meet and greet line?" Jan said, "Of course... I will try to be towards
the end..." He said, "Awesome... You better be in line!!!! I will
be waiting for you!!!!"
Jan and I went through the autograph line at the end of the line.
I had baked cookies for the guys and gave each their package, along
with a small birthday gift for Lance (a small coffee mug with a little
teddy bear in it...), he held up the bear and said to the other guys,
"Look who I will be sleeping with tonight!!!!" Brad about fell ut
laughing so hard.... Lance commented that he knew who Brad wished he
was sleeping with tonight!!!! Bad boys!!!! George commented on a
gorgeous photograph that Jan had him autograph and he asked her to
email him a copy of the photo. She said she would, and asked him for
his email address... He obliged, and told her it would be greatly
appreciated, since they are putting together the photos for the CD
cover!!! All in all, the guys all looked good, sounded good, and
the show was a total success.

Denver, CO!
July 10, 2004

When we got to Denver, first thing we did was get tickets for the
show and we were in the 14th row.
Saturday night was the show and again it was a wonderful amphitheater. It was the same set list and almost the same jokes as usual. No funny business and George was at the show. Brad was not feeling good and could not finish his set. He left out "Rock and Roll in the Hay" and "Drift Away". He had laryngitis and during "I Meant To" he totally lost his voice for 3 lines. An older man sitting near us yelled "We love you Brad" and Brad responded with "Hey man, love you too" This was an older crowed and these were the people who made NS2 the success it was. This crowd was the voters and supporters of the show. This was the best NS2 concert that I've been to yet. The other 3 came back out and each did one more song to make up for the songs that Brad couldn't do. The concert ended with George doing the theme from the "Dukes of Hazzard". The whole crowd did show Brad their appreciation of his being a trooper and doing the best he could. Brad definately went beyond what was expected and I did not hear anyone making a negative comment...only good ones.
We were early in the autograph line due to wanting to leave for
Nashville as soon as possible. We both got our hugs from the guys
and Jan gave George a present (Which was decided upon along the
trip from Albuquerque). He was just like a kid in the candy shop
when she said she had a gift, George saying "OOOH, I like presents".
He opened it up and found it was  2 - 8x10's of the photo he loved.
One was color and the other was black and white . All the guys
commented on the excellent photo and George said he was going to
give it to his management, who was at this show and that this photo
was going to be put (along with a big pile of others) in consideration
for the cd sleeve. Jan was overjoyed.

Huntington, WV!
July 17, 2004

We arrived in Huntington WV mid afternoon and after checking into
the hotel went to buy the show tickets and got 2nd row. Jan and
I bought roses for the guys and I baked both regular and sugar free
cookies for the gang. Cameras were not allowed this evening much to
Jan's dismay, but we were given passes for this show. There was no way to get up to the stage to give the guys their roses so we gave them to them before the show along with their cookies. This show was great. Every time I see them, they are better than the time before. They did the full show as normal with the same jokes. This time Matt said that he saved 16,000 in retort to Lances' saving 300.00 on car insurance due to stealing Lances' pickup and it is now in Matt's front yard. When Brad sang "Rock and Roll in the Hay", Matt came out with a 3ft. Diva doll and started dancing with it on the corner of the stage and then threw it to Brad. Matt then fell to the floor rolling with laughter. Brad announced that Matt bought him that doll at a truckstop thinking Brad needed the company because he's the only single person on the bus of 12 people. Brad danced with the doll and ended up kissing it. He said he named it Jenn Hicks because it looks kinda like her.(wait until I call Jenn and tell her)
The guys were great as ususal. They again had a meet and greet after
the show. Which we did not intend to stay for.....

At this meet and greet, Jan was given a giant beer poster that
advertised the Nashville Star Tour on it to have it autographed
for a handicapped young man we had met back in Nashville that said
he had never met a real Country Artist, and would be tickled to have
an autograph!!! Jan approached the guys with this and they were
delighted to sign the poster for the fella!! We delivered it to him
upon our return to Nashville, and he was speechless. He said he was
going home and putting it on his wall right away!!!

Brad, George, Matt and Lance,
You sure made that young man very happy!!! You have a true fan for
 life in him!!!!

Hersheys, PA!
July 18, 2004

We slept late and got to Hershey PA at about 4pm. We managed to get
decent seats for the show though. The first show was standing room
only. This was the largest turnout I've seen yet for the NS2 show.
They shortened the shows to 1 hr lengths due to having 2 shows.
When Matt came out, I yelled "Where is the doll. His comment was
"don't even go there" and snickered. When Brad came out, he started
with the guitar songs as ususal, then the keyboard songs. He stated
the aunt of the girl he wrote "I Miss Me" was in the audience. When
he sang "Rock and Roll in the Hay", Lance brought out the Jenn Hicks
Diva doll and handed it to Brad. He was dancing and hugging the doll
again and kissed it again as a joke!(See the photo below!) He made
it clear that he does not have a doll fetish. It was so funny to watch
the guys with the doll. At the 2nd show, they did predominantly
different songs. Each artist sang 3 songs each and Brad sang 4 songs
for each show. During the first show, Brad also did an extra song
"I Meant To" stating people were complaining they were not hearing
it on the radio. At the end of the 2nd show they all came out singing
again, and Brad brought out his camafloged painted washboard. This
show was only half full and was again a hit. We skipped the meet and greet after the first show, and decided to attend the second one... Good decision!!! Since we wanted good seats for the second show!!!! The meet and greet was again rushed, but better organized... We stood around a bit and watched as Jan waited to take some group shots of the guys!!!!

Cary, NC.
July 23, 2004

Cary was a beautiful ampitheater with a very large natural pond and
big trees. The sound was excellent and the show was spectacular.
We met several people from the messageboards and Brad's great aunt
Joan(she is a hoot an d I love her) who I met at the family reunion
was there with her family. The only bad thing about the venue was
the seating. It had rained all night previous and the ground was wet
and soppy. The folding chairs were sinking into the mud and the
ground was going downward from the stage so all you could see was
the head in front of you instead of the stage. A lot of people stood
for the show. I again brought roses for all 4 of the guys and baked
cookies which the venue refused to allow me to give them. They got
 the cookies in Charlotte.
Lance has the hard job of warming the crowd up, but this crowd did
not need any warming.I took his rose up to him after the first song
was finished. His comment this week was "I have never met you before.
Thanks for the rose". He then told the audience that I was a friend
who brings flowers frequently.
When he did the holler and swallow routine, Matt had a remote control
taxi car bring a glass of beer to Lance. Lance's comment was "it was
better than Mr Rogers' neighborhood". He sang the regular songs as
normal. He did announce that he signed with RCA records and that his
first cd was going to be produced by the Warren Brothers and someone
else who I don't remember the name of. When I find out I will post it.
Matt was again the hoot he always is. When I got upstage with his
rose, he had his back towards the audience and he turned around saying
"I smell roses" He always comes up with a funny saying. He is truly
getting better with each show. His vocals are getting stronger and he
is getting a lot more relaxed on stage, not that he wasn't always in
good form, but he is getting to be exceptional in front of a crowd.
Someone in the crowd asked him to smash his washboard and he told
them that he broke it last night and this camafloged washboard was
Brad's that he was using. Next was George's turn. He announced that
"Better Than You" was the song chosen for his new single that would
go to radio August 5th. His album will be released on September 28th,
the day before Brad Cotter's birthday. When I took the rose up to
George, he walked down a couple steps and gave me a hug. When he sat
to do "My Name", someone asked him to sit on the steps so he would be
closer to the audience which he did. My friend Eric volunteered to
hold the mike stand for him. It gave an added edge to this song and
the crowd really did get into it more than usual. The comments about
him doing it this night were all extremely positive. When George
sang "Good Day to Ride", the other 3 guys came out on stick hobby
horses galloping around the stage. The crowd went wild!!!!! Brad
decided he was a rodeo rider and was doing some trick riding. George
was laughing so hard he missed a chorus and a verse of the song.
Brad got the royal welcome as usual when he took the stage. I took
his rose up to him after the first song and he had started another
song before he saw me so I went back to my seat. I was going to
give it to him after the show. After he did "Rock and Roll in the
Hay" he asked where I was at because he didn't want to miss out on
his rose and came over and got it from me. One of the tour memebers
told me later that the gang really looks forward to getting thier
roses. I am glad that they are appreciated as much as they are. I
was hesitant at continueing the roses because I was thinking it was
getting to be old hat... When Brad did "Rock and Roll in the Hay",
the other 3 guys snuck up behind him and showered him with silly
string. He was so covered you couldn't see his head or shoulders.
Again the crowd roared and Brad missed a whole chorus from laughing
and fighting off silly string. Brad had the whole audience on their
feet singing, clapping along and in general having a great time. Brad
also added an extra song this show. He did "Blue Collar Night" and
did an awesome job on it. After he finishes singing, he goes to the
keyboard and plays the chorus for the song before ending. This was a
real crowd pleaser. This was the best audience to date for the NS2
tour and the first encore at one. They sang "Dukes of Hazzard again
and got the crowd riled up. I don't know why they don't just put
that song into the show. It is always one of the best received
performances and the crowd absolutely loves it. By and far, this
was the absolute best concert I have EVER attended. I am still
upset with the promo agency not doing their part in promoting this
tour. They have a goldmine under them and they are not mining it or
giving my boys the credit or potential they justly deserve.

Charlotte, NC!
July 24, 2004

Charlotte was at Carrowinds amusement park. It was the nicest theater
to date that I have seen. It is seperate from the park and requires
a seperate admission. If you bought the concert ticket, you could
upgrade to a park pass for only $10.00 for the day. We came out to
the car in the afternoon and heard sound check in the parking lot so
we stayed to listen. Brad did "High on Love" during sound check and
Lance did "Momma Tried". These are 2 of my absoluete favorite songs
and wish they were included in the show. This crowd was good again.
We met Joshua from the local radio station who is a big NS2 fan and
said he was promoting the tour on his show. We talked to him quite
a bit and he claims he is promoting Brad and will promote George when
the single is released. We got his number and email and we will make
sure he does. The show again was great. There was a barrier between
the audience and stage tonight so this show wasnt as intimate as
ususal. During Lance's set, he announced that he signed with RCA
records and that the Warren Brothers, and another person who's name
I don't remember, will be producing his cd. CONGRATULATIONS,LANCE.
I KNEW IT WAS ONLY A MATTER OF TIME. YOU DESERVIE IT WHOLEHEARTEDLY,
MAN. George had let it slip last week but Lance hushed it so I never
said anything about it. I'm glad he announced it. It was VERY hard
for me to keep it a secret. I wanted to yell it to the world. This
show was mostly the ususal jokes and songs. When George sang "Good
Day to Ride" they guys again came out on the ponies. George said he
was expecting something to happen during that song so it didn't
surprise him. When Brad left the stage with his pony, the pony nuzzled
George on the neck and again the crowd went wild. George asked what
the name of the ponies were and the reply was Darrell, Blackie and
Darrell. Brad again added "Blue Collar Night". I hope he keeps it
in the show. It is a crowd pleaser and one that he does the best job
on. At the end the 4 guys came out again and another washboard got
smashed (not the camafloged one) Brad was picking up peices and
throwing them to the audience. When he picked up the end peices,
he was pretending they were numb-chucks before giving them to the
audience. Brad has truly turned into a HAM during this tour.

Paducah, KY.
July 30, 2004
(2 Reviews to Follow)

The show Friday night in Paducah was again awesome. It was a rainy
day with horrible downpours. This was more of a formal and serious
show than most of the other shows with very little kidding by the
guys. This was the show closest to Lance's hometown so it was mostly
Lance fans, but all the guys got very good receptions throughout the
evening. We had found roses on sale today so each guy got a dozen
instead of just a single rose as normal. This was the nicest theater
I've been to yet for a NS2 show, even though the majority of the
theaters have been great. The 4 rivers center had 2 balconies and
there wasn't a bad seat in the theater. All 4 guys came out doing
"Put Some Drive in your Country". Lance came out wearing his black
suit. He is extremely hard to get decent photos of due to his black
clothes always blends in with the background at an inside show.
Lance did his usual 5 songs, the 2 cover songs, "Beer Just Aint for
Breakfast Anymore", "Can You See Me Alright", "George Jones and Jesus"
. He did the insurance joke and the holler and swallow with Matt
bringing a beer on the remote control car again. This is a cute
part of the show. Matt was his usual self, but not quite as funny
as normal, but still was a hit. He sang "Folsom Prison", "Rolling
in my Sweet Baby's Arms", Grampa's Farm", "Jump Off the Bridge",
finishing with "Fast Train to Georgia". Matt is continuing to recruit
fans at every show. His vocals are very much improved and it wouldn't
surprise me in the least bit if Matt wouldn't end up on radio. All 4
guys have improved immensely since the tour has started and all are
worthy of being out on their own now. The showmanship has really come
a long way and all 4 are total crowd pleasers(not that they weren't
before, but are all greatly improved). George wore a burgandy colored
shirt(which looked GREAT on him) with his black coat. George is
always impressive at the shows. He sang "Ring of Fire", "Good Day
to Ride", "My Name", "Better Than You", "Rainbow River". During
"Rainbow River", Matt and Lance came out riding the stick hobby
horses again. When they left the stage, they threw the horses onto
the stage and George picked them up and gave them to 2 kids sitting
in the front row. The kids were overjoyed at getting them. When
George gave them to the kids, Matt came running out on stage to get
them and was mad when George gave them away and threw his hat to
the ground and stomped off stage...oh well... Matt, I will buy you
2 new horses because the horse prank is the true crowd pleaser of
the show. We love you, Matt. Brad stole the show as usual. His show
is always high energy and he does his best to get the crowd involved.
This was again a middle aged crowd for the most part and more serious
than normal. He sang "Patient Man", "Can't Tell Me Nothing",
"Blue Collar Night", "I Meant To", "I Miss Me", and "Rock and
Roll in the Hay". During the keyboard solo for Blue Collar Night",
he hit a wrong note and said "that is as pretty as it's gonna get"
and the crowd laughed. When I gave him his yellow roses, he hugged
 me from the stage.
Once Brad finished, Matt and George brought Lance out sitting on
their shoulders to the audience's approval and thunderous applause.
They did encores tonight. Lance did a traditional song with a rock
beat, but I am sorry, I just don't remember which song it was
(bad reporter lol). The whole gang did the "Dukes of Hazzard"
Theme Song, "The Good Ole Boys". I really don't understand why
that song just doesn't get put into the show. Then Lance was
telling how they were singing a gospel song on the bus earlier
and asked Brad to do a gospel song. He chose "The Lighthouse"
and was the ABSOLUTE BEST PERFORMANCE of the evening. I have
always bragged about Brad's gospel ability, but he really outshone
himself tonight. He got a standing ovation with a roar of approval.
I wish Brad would do a gospel song at every concert. This is truly
where his forte is at, and I will attend gospel concerts and buy
his albums. He is the best gospel singer I've ever heard, bar none.
The guys again did a meet and greet and this was the longest line
I've ever seen at a NS2 concert (And very unorganzied!). The guys
were all in great spirits, even though they were all totally
exhausted. Brad was fighting to stay awake during the meet and
greet. We again gave cookies to the guys and found out from the
band members that they all really do get eaten and appreciated by
the whole entourage. The guys have to fight to keep their cookies.
I was wondering if the threw them out, but now I know better. All
in all, this was another dynamite show, but one show closer to the
end of the concert tour. I will be in Columbus (Brad country with
approximately 80 family members attending) and Mableton (Matt country)
this week. We are also thinking about Jacksonville and I will write
a review next week for those shows. I've gotten several emails saying
these reviews are appreciated and I want to thank everyone who writes.
I enjoy writing the reviews as much as you enjoy reading them.

******

I'm sure a can't do as good of a review as Marlene, since hers are
so fantastic. I didn't know this but Paducah is really close to
Lance's hometown, so there were a ton of Lance Miller fans. They
all started out the show with the song that they sang together on
duet night. I bought Lance's CD at the show. And after listening
to it, I'm really impressed with Lance. He did a nice job, and was
wearing a nice suit. They brought him out a beer on a little remote
control truck, in between songs. The other boys played a joke on him,
by hanging a tag from his hat. Some lady brought him up flowers,
I think a dozen roses. Then Matt was next. He did his usual leg
shaken, dancing, wash boarding routine, and jokes in between songs.
I was suprised he did one really serious song, I think it's called
Grandpa's song. That was really good. Matt also recieved flowers.
Then George came out and did some upbeat country songs, that were
really good. Lance and Matt came out riding stick horses. Then he
gave the band a break and did a song with just him singing and playing
his guitar. It was a good song. (about an unborn baby) some woman
also gave George flowers. He warmed up the crowd for Brad. The
highlight of the night was definately Brad. He was wearing a brown
shirt with blue jeans. He sang a bunch of great songs. Rock and Roll
in the Hay, got the crowd going the most. He also got flowers from
some woman. When he was done with his set, Matt and George brought
Lance out on their shoulders. I was sure his pants were going to rip.
One leg was on Matt's shoulder and the other on George's. Lance
sang about 2 more songs. Then Brad sang a real nice gospel one.
Then they all sang another one together and closed the show. The
show was fantastic!

Columbus, GA!
Aug. 5, 2004

Due to being the closest venue to hometown of Brad, this was the
biggest show to date.  The excitement was in the air all the way
from the parking lot. Many of us from the messageboard met at the
show and several signs were in the audience.  It was great to meet
Aimee, Jennifer,  and see old friends I met during the NS2 shows.
The show started out with the guys doing "Put Some Drive in your
Country".  The guys were all looking and acting like they felt great.
Lance then took the stage.  When he got on stage, he discovered a tag
ala "Minnie Pearl" hanging from his hat.  He wore his beautiful light
blue pinstripped shirt that I love so much.  Thank you Lance.  It is
very hard to get photos of you when you wear black.  He shortened his
set a little by doing only 4 songs.   He did his Merle Haggard cover
tune and told the joke about the insurance which didn't go off too well
with this crowd.  The remote control truck also brought a beverage to
Lance just before he did "Beer Ain't Just for Breakfast Anymore". He
then did the crowd favorites of"Can you See Me Alright" "George Jones
and Jesus".  NS2 truly did not allow Lance to show the world his true
self. He is making new fans right and left through this tour. During
his set, he announced that NS2 is a family show contriary to what has
been written elsewhere.
Next was Matt wearing his usual attire, LOL, as if he is going to
wear something else.  If he did, he just wouldn't be Matt. WE REALLY
DO LOVE YOU, MATT. He also shortened his set and did "Rolling in my
Sweet Baby's Arms", "Grampa's Farm", "Jump off the Bridge" and "Fast
Train to Georgia.  Matt always thanks the crowd for allowing him to
stay on the show longer than he anticipated. You can tell that Matt
felt truly blessed for everything being chosen for NS2 brought to him.
I always have liked Matt, but this tour has brought out the real Matt.
I feel that we should feel blessed that Tracy allowed him to remain on
the first episode so we can all see his amazing talent.  I am anxious
to see a full show from Matt instead of just 20 minutes. Matt was
funnier than usual tonight.  When he came out first ime, he had a
team jersey over his overalls much to the delight of the audience.
George came out wearing that beautiful camel colored coat and his
white hat.  He is such a hottie in this outfit!!! He too shortened his
set by one song also.  He did "Good Day to Ride", "My Name", which is
the song he wrote to help his friends deal with a miscarriage. This
song is written from the unborn babies point of view. He always
introduces the band at this time.  The band consists of John (The Hobbit)
Bolinger, barefoot lead guitar, pedal steel, mandoline; Randy Threet,
bass guitar; Carlo (Bam Bam) Marino , drums; Jeannie Ann Cioffi,
(The Rose Amongst All the Thorns) accoustic guitar and fiddle; and
Lee (Tank) Turner, keyboards.  Brad calls Carlo the "ultimate drummer".
I can agree with his comment. George's next song was "Better Than
You" and he finished his set with "Rainbow River".
George's new single" I'll never do Better Than You" was shipped to
radio on Aug 5th. It promises to be a big hit for George.
The final of the 4 to perform was Brad.  Of course this hometown
hero was given the royal hero's welcome. He looked great, though tired.
He wore a beautiful white shirt with small blue designs on it. He
did his entire set, along with 3 extra songs.  He did "Patient Man",
Can't Tell Me Nothin'", "Blue Collar Nights".  This song is fast
becoming a crowd favorite. He plays the chorus on the keyboards when
ending the song and the crowd goes wild.  His next song was "I Miss Me".
This song is still one of my favorites, along with every audience I have
been it. He always gets a wonderful response to this song with a large
portion of the audience members singing along. His next song was "I Meant To".
When he got the line "All the pretty girls I never kissed", a 3 foot diva doll
with blond hair was lowered from the rafters in front of him.  He was oblivious
to the doll for almost the whole song until a band member told him to look in
front of him.  When he did, the look on his face was priceless. When he finished
the song, he said "Who is responsible for this!!!  Lance, Matt? This is the
weird sense of humor my tourmates have." He then went up to the doll and held
her and kissed her.  Lee then said jokingly "This proves that he really does
have a doll fetish".  I have to state.. BRAD DOES NOT HAVE A DOLL FETISH,
THIS WAS ALL A JOKE ON HIM!!!!!
The prop person then cut the down the doll and took her backstage.
He then did the 3 cover songs. "Sweet Home Alabama", "Hold On Loosely",
"Feel like Making Love" also stating that he snuck out without knowledge
to see a Bad Company concert at age 16 and apologized to his dad for going.
I believe there was one other song, but I don't remember which one it
was.  He got a standing ovation and when the guys all came out to take
their final kudos, Lance brought out the doll which was autographed by
Brad and threw her out into the audience. This was a very successful
show.  Due to a guard rail being up, I was not able to take the
flowers to the guys onstage, so I gave them to the guys along with
their cookies after the show.

Mableton, GA!
Aug. 6, 2004

This was again an outdoor ampitheater. The weather was perfect being
not hot, nor cool.  When the NS2 gang was announced, she said to thank
God for bring September weather in August.  There was very little
joking around and no pratical jokes at this concert.  The gang again
came out doing "Put Some Drive in you Country".  Lance was wearing his
black pinstripped shirt. Lance, looking good as usual.  Matt wore his
overalls with an orange t-shirt. This color looks great on Matt.
George wore a light blue dress shirt and his white hat. Brad wore a
blue golf shirt.
Lance did the usual set of songs. Merle Haggard cover, "Lousiana
Saturday Night",  "Beer Ain't Just For Breakfast Anymore","Can You
See Me Alright", "George Jones and Jesus".  The usual jokes were told.
Matt was good as usual.  He sang "Folsom Prison Blues","Rolling In
My Sweet Baby's Arms", "Grampa's Farm", "Jump off the Bridge", and
"Georgia on a Fast Train".  Matt again told the story behind writing
"Jump Off the Bridge", as Lee walked up to Matt on the stage carrying
a bag of Doritos (Cool Ranch!).  2 of his bandmates were abducted by
the Hari Karishna's and they had to go to their temple to rescue them.
While driving he drank 4 - 2 liters of coke and wrote the song while
going down the highway.  It really is funny the way Matt tells it.
Matt also said that he toured in a RV without food.  Matt said to
the crowd, "Now there are special people who bring us cookies, flowers,
and pictures!!!" The way he said it was priceless!! Matt you are very
special to us too.  We both love you dearly, along with the entire
entourage of the NS2.
George also did his usual set. "Ring of Fire", "Good Day to Ride",
"My Name", "Better Than You", "Rainbow River".  Someone yelled out
during his set that they were from Canada also.  George had a
spotlight put on them and they talked about where in Canada they
are from. George again explained why Canadians say "AY"... "Spell
my countries name, CA-NA-DA!! That is why we say "AY"!" said George!!!!

Brad came out wearing a green dress shirt now.  He did the usual
set, also.  "Patient Man", "Can't tell me Nothin'", "Blue Color Nights"
, "I Miss Me", "I Meant To". He finsish with "Rock and Roll in the Hay"
.   I again bought roses for the guys, due to not having roses last
night and could not take them upstage due to a pit in front of the
seats.  I gave the roses to the guys at the autograph table.
 *******
Now I want to brag a little about the NS2 band. (John, Lee, Carlo,
Randy, & Jeannie Ann) The NS2 band is an awesome, musicians'
favorite band consisting of truly the best musicians in Nashville.
They deserve much more credit than they get.  They are the reason
our wonderful guys sound so great night after night.  My hat off to
you all.  We appreciate what you do and how you do it.  I also want
to wish Carlo Marino, the drummer, best wishes in his new endeavor.
His last night with the NS2 tour was last Saturday in Jacksonville.
Your contribution to the show did not go unnoticed and you will be
dearly missed. Not just by the NS2 gang, but by your fans also. We
love you, Carlo.

Rochester, NY
(The Roost)
Aug. 11, 2004

&

Niagra Falls, NY (Canada)
Aug. 12, 2004

Courtesy of
MaryBeth

Where to begin.... On Wednesday night, Brad, John & Randy played an
acoustic set at The Roost (country bar) in Henrietta, NY. I am still
on cloud nine after that show. I got the chance to meet Brad privately
before the show, which totally makes up for the show last night (I'll
explain that in a moment). A local act (J.B.& Company) opened the
show and were good at warming things up. BUT it was the surprise guest,
Sean Patrick McGraw, that got everybody interested. He was awesome!
I have a feeling that we'll be seeing/hearing more from him,
especially if Brad has his way!!! Brad just couldn't stop praising
him and really let Sean Patrick shine. I can honestly say that I have
never heard of an artist that let someone else have the spotlight. No
wonder everyone loves Brad. After Sean Patrick played (which took a
bit of maneuvering since he broke a string and none of the other
guitars were tuned right), Brad came onstage. Brad, with Randy and
John, all sat on stools and just played their hearts out. After
opening up with 'Patient Man', 'Can't Tell Me Nothing', 'I Miss Me',
and 'I Meant To', I requested 'Rock and Roll in the Hay'. Brad said
that they never did it without a full band, but said what the hell,
we'll try anything! WOOHOO!!! It rocked. Everyone was singing and
dancing. Brad then tells everyone that he is having way too much fun
(especially since he was out of his cage) and wasn't ready to leave
and asked Sean Patrick to get back out onstage so they could jam.
And jam they did. I have never been to a concert that was so laid
back and kicking. No song lists, no rhyme or reason, they would just
hit a chord and then everyone on the stage would get in sync and
start playing. The guys from J.B. & Company came up and gave us a
full band, with Brad on keyboards. Afterward, we found out that the
drummer was Ricky VanShelton's drummer. They played everything from
Skynard, Eagles, CCR, Mellencamp, Springsteen, Billy Joel, Bad
Company, jeez I can't remember them all. They just jammmed for over
two hours. Brad started playing a song and Sean Patrick didn't know
the words, so Brad would whisper them in his ear so Sean Patrick
could sing the song, it was hysterical. JUST AWESOME!!!! After they
finally ran out of songs to do, they had an autograph session. By
then Brad and Sean Patrick were pretty much ripped (due to the fact
that this concert was sponsored by Labatt Blue and drinks were a
flowing!!!) But they were very nice, down to earth and just plain
having fun with everyone. If I wasn't already in love with Brad,
I would be now!
****************
Now to the big disappointment, last nights NS2 show at the Fallsview
 Casino in Canada (08/12/04)...
First, let me just say that all the guys were fantastic. But the
venue SUCKED. I'm pretty sure that if I was Brad,Lance or Matt, I
probably would have told George afterwards that he could keep his
'bleeping' country. I realize that most of the people there were to
see George, understandable. But 90% of them didn't know who Brad or
anyone else were, not even the staff who was working the show! On
the way out, a couple of women were talking, and they were like,
"Yeah I got his autograph but I don't know his name, I think it was
 Brett something".
Secondly, the guys couldn't do anything. I mean NOTHING! They just
could sing four or five songs and get off the stage. No kidding around
allowed. They all made a comment or two about being time restricted,
but Brad said it best. That they could only do some songs and get
this done by 10:00 and no later, they want you people to get back
into the casino. You could tell that he was a bit ticked off at that
and rightly so. They were watching them like hawks. Brad announded
that Sean Patrick was here and he wishes he could give him more time
onstage, but he was told by the casino 10:00 NO LATER, so he let
him come out and do a song in between Brad's songs. I really felt
bad, especially after reading all the other reviews and knowing how
 much fun they have onstage.
Thirdly, no autograph session or merchandise selling! Apparently,
the casino would only allow an hour and a half and no longer! Lord
forbid that you would prevent the people from loosing money in their
establishment! Yes, I'm frustrated, sorry. I just couldn't get over
how rude everyone there was. They wouldn't even let George's family
back to see him.
Again, I'm sorry if I have been offensive. I just can't tell you how
disappointed with last night I was. I so wanted to meet Lance, Matt
and George. And of course see Brad again. But I am thankful that I
had Wednesday. An experience like that just doesn't happen all the
time. Brad Cotter, you are the best!

Rochester Hills, Mi!
Aug. 13, 2004

This show was held at another wonderful ampitheater. The sound was
great and the guys all looked wonderful. The weather was very cold
and comments were made thoughout the show about how cold it was.
The stagehand, wrapped in a blanket and eating an ice cream bar,
kept bringing notes onstage saying "it is cold" and "it is still
cold".
Lance wore a white dress shirt,  Matt had an orange t-shirt, George
wore a blue long sleeved shirt with a sleeveless vest/jacket.  Brad
had on a beautiful black dress shirt.  This show was very high energy.
I guess the guys were so cold that they had to have high energy just
to try to stay warm.  All the guys commented on the NY/Canada - Falls
show, and said that they were told there would be a $1,000 per minute
that the show went on after 10pm. They referred to the security guards
as the Canadian Mafia. LOL. They more than made up for the short show
tonight.  One fan gave all the guys t-shirts that said " Don't mess
with me, I have friends in Detroit".  This fan also gave George 2
teddy bears for his children.
We keep thinking about the guys, but this was the first fan (I've
seen) that thought about George's children. He was very touched by
that.
Lance sang "Big City", "Rambling Man", "Can You See Me Alright",
"Beer Ain't Just For Breakfast Anymore", and "George Jones and Jesus".
When Lance did "Beer Ain't Just For Breakfast Anymore", Brad
came out and played tamborine and Matt came out with his washboard.
After the song finished, Lance said that George was too drunk to come
out.  George then came onstage stagering (George does NOT drink!)
George is a wonderful actor!!
Matt did "Folsom Prison", "Rolling In My Sweet Baby's Arms",
"Gramdpa's Farm", "Jump Off The Bridge", and "Fast Train To Georgia".

George was escorted onstage by Matt and Lance, stagering and
holding a beer can. The crowd roared. These guys were all cutting up
a lot tonight.  George sang "Ring of Fire", "Good Day to Ride", "My
Name", "I'll Never Do Better Than You", "Rainbow River".
Brad did "Patient Man", "Can't Tell Me Nothing", "Blue Collar
Nights", "I Meant To", "I Miss Me", and "Rock And Roll In The Hay".
The encores included Dukes of Hazzard theme, "The Good Ole Boys".
The crowd was wild. This was the best crowd I've seen at a NS2 show.
They were rowdy, wild and ready for a good time, without going
overboard with it.  There was a rose vendor at the show and Brad made
the comment "Jees Louise, We sure are getting the roses tonight.
I wish I had a girlfriend So Id have somewhere to put them!" He must
have gotten 15 roses tonight.  Mine was the only yellow rose, all the
others were red.  I was wondering if I should stop giving the roses,
but one of the band members said the guys appreciate every rose they
get and they stay on the bus until they die.  This comment came from
more than one of the members.  This was the first show for the new
drummer. I'm sorry I don't remember his last name. It's a long and
difficult one.  They call him Possie.  He has the very difficult job
of coming onto the tour at the end and having to follow such a
magnificent drummer as Carlo Marino.  I must tip my hat to him.
He filled the spot with his great talent and wonderful personality.
They chose the right man for the job.  This was a hard spot to fill,
but he made the grade with flying colors.
The meet and greet was awesome.  The guys all looked and acted
wonderful. When Jan approached the table, she handed Brad some CD's
of the photos she took at the previous shows and some roses, and
Brad exclaimed: "Guys, She comes bearing gifts!" All of the guys got
excited and could not wait to get their goodies... Jan then gave
Brad an Auburn Tigers team jersey with the number 23 on it.
(A surprise gift that he knew he was getting, but just did not
know what it was!!!) He was just like a kid on Christmas.  She had
it wrapped in another t-shirt (Which she told him that show would
explain later!) and he opened it gingerly, like he was scared
something would jump out at him..  With the subtile pratical jokes
being pulled on each other tonight, he didn't know what to expect.
When he saw the jersey, he said "OMG, it's a jersy..OMG. It's an
Auburn Tigers jersey. Jan, you shouldn't have... You are too sweet,
thank you so much!!! OMG!!".  The other guys kept commenting on the
jersey and quizzing Brad about it... Jan told him that he should put
it on to get warm (he was saying he was cold). He was so excited he
had trouble getting his arms in it.  With Jan's help, he managed to
pull it on and kept saying..."Marlene, don't take the picture until
I have it on".  He then put his arms in the air and exclaimed
"I scored a touchdown".  (I had to talk Jan into buying it for him
as it was expensive, but the look on his face when he opened it
was priceless.)  I have never seen an adult man get so excited over
a present in my life. This episode was priceless and more than made
up for the difficult week we all had.  The next night we learned that
Brad had given the bus a lesson in college football.  I can imagine
that he did. The Auburn Tigers is a religion for Brad and his family,
not just an interest. We still love you, Brad.
War Eagle!!!!

Mundelein, Il!
Aug. 14, 2004

This show was held at a club in a northern suburb of Chicago.  We had
gotten there early and ran into Brad as he was walking back from the
gas station next door. He came over to the car and spent a few minutes
with us and we gave him a special something we brought for him (it
stemmed from a comment he had made the night before at the meet and
greet!). Jan showed Brad a photo that she had of the two of them from
the night before, ("Brad, look at what I have!!!" as she handed him
the photo!) and Brad grinned at it, and said, "Awesome, I like that!",
before he slipped it into his pocket!!! (I guess Brad is just used
to Jan giving him copies of all of her photos!!!).... Jan did not
realize Brad had taken it until much later... But that is fine, she
had a few extra copies of it!!! She had intended on giving it to him
anyways, if he had only asked!!!!  We also found out how camera
unsavy he is.  This photo was taken last night at Rochester Hills Mi.
He said "How did you do that? How did you get it back so fast." Jan
replied "Ask Marlene, it's her camera... But, It's digital, baby".
There were a few fans that called to him and he responded, "Give me a
couple minutes to talk to my friends, and I will be right over."
Unfortunately, these fans did not listen and came over to the car.
After Brad finished with us, he met with the other fans before the
tour manager came and walked with him back to the bus.
This venue was a club with only a few seats. It was first come
first serve seating (Standing room only on the dance floor for the
show!) Almost everyone stood in front of the stage for the show, and
lots of pushing going on. Everyone wanted to be right up front...
Jan and I were front and center. The guys all sang the same set lists.
A lot of wise cracks were thrown about.  When they did "Put Some
Drive in Your Country", Matt locked the door behind him leading to
the stage and George had to go out through the pizza kitchen to get
onstage, thusfore making him late for his part. LOL!  The crowd roard
when Lance told us that from the stage.  This was a rowdy show and
aimed for a more mature audience, but NO children were there. If you
weren't legal age, you didn't get in. Nothing got out of hand and
nothing I would call profanity or rudeness was shown. Brad did make a
few off the wall comments, but they wil not be repeated here!!!! Out
of respect for Brad and the fans!  A fan made all the guys a wooden
box with their names on.
I again gave roses to 3 of the guys.  Jan wanted to give Brad his
roses herself, but did not give them to him onstage. She prefers to
give them to him at the meet and greet.  She gave the roses after
the show to Jeannie Ann (which she really felt honored and enjoyed).
Lance again told the car insurance joke, and during Matt's set,
he said Lance's wife called him up and told him she wrecked the car
(as a reply to the saving the 200.00 on car insurance). The audience
was again rowdy and "egged" the guys into being even rowdier. This
was an excellent audience who knew and appreciated our guys.
Lance wore the light blue pinstiped shirt that I like.  Matt wore a
white t-shirt.  George wore a long sleeve dark brown shirt and white
hat, Brad wore a dark blue pin-stippped shirt. All looked great, but
 a little rough.
At first it appeared that they would not do an encore, but they
were brought back to do the "Dukes of Hazzard" theme.  Brad said he
was unaware they were going to do an encore as he was already
undressed and had just mixed himself another drink.  After quite a
while, George, Lance & Matt did come out for a meet and greet. It
was brought to our attention by Jeannie Ann that Brad was not riding
on the bus that night, and that he had already left, therefore, he
would not be available for a meet and greet!!!

********************************

Lewisburg, WV!
Aug. 17, 2004

This show was held at the WV state fair.  Jan had a front row center
seat and I was in the 12th row.  Fair admission was included in the
cost of the concert tickets.  A formal meet and greet was not held
due to the fair board of directors had their own private meet and
greet for the fair committee.
George, Lance and Matt did sneak out of the party one at a time to
meet with their fans that stayed after the show.  All these guys are
so very much appreciative of their fans.  I did tell several people
that if the guys had their "druthers" they would be doing a meet and
greet instead of the private party. Several people were disappointed.
Lance wore a royal blue silk dress shirt, Matt black t-shirt,
George wore a dark brown dress shirt and white hat and Brad wore a
grey and white stripped shirt with diamond designs on the front and
patchwork pocket that was too big on him and needed an iron. But he
still looked good.  The guys did the same set of songs with the same
jokes as usual. There wasn't much joking at this show, but the guys
all looked and felt good.  Musically, they were all totally on..
especially Matt.  He was in supurb form both musically
and with his stage presence. I am just in awe at how much better this
guy gets week after week.  He voice has come along so much that he
would be cappable of having a label contract.  But don't, Matt.  We
don't want a thing about you to change.  We love you very much just
the way you are.  Brad did apologize to Jeanie Ann for telling her
that he loved the violin, but not the fiddle. At this point Jeanie
Ann blew him a kiss. At the end of the set when they all come out to
take their final bow, a gal gave all 4 guys a basket of goodies.
Matt was so hungry that he opened his Oreo cookies and stuffed one
in his mouth.  Lance came over and grabbed one from him and stuffed
it in his mouth.  It was a hoot. That does show that the presents
given by the fans are appreciated.
